As the owner of both Soul Hum and Hummingbird Heart Co., Anna’s story of overcoming struggles with alcohol, grief, and mental health paved the way for creating spaces where others could also find healing and connection.

Born into a family shaded by the destruction that alcohol can bring, Anna’s experiences with anxiety, PMDD, and overwhelming loss drew her toward alcohol as a crutch—something that seemed like the only constant in a life of turmoil. But after the devastating loss of her brother and sister-in-law, Anna found herself at a crossroads. It was time to question her relationship with alcohol and make a conscious choice to heal, for herself, her family, and for the future she envisioned.

And out of the ashes of that challenging time, Hummingbird Heart Co. was born—a brick-and-mortar space that would grow into a Kombucha & Dry Elixir Bar, Apothecary, and sober sanctuary for others who also sought a more conscious lifestyle. This sacred space, along with Soul Hum, was built to support every human being on their life journey—whether they’re sober, sober-curious, or simply seeking mindful, plant-based products to nourish the body, mind, and soul.
